Response Times

Response time standards measured by UVES are categorized based on priority of call, and are measured for calls only occurring within the Town of Union.

In benchmarking UVES’ performance against national standards, UVES sets performance above that which has been identified by leading EMS industry consultants and referenced in publicly accessible reports from around the country.

The arrival of a transport-capable ALS ambulance should occur....... for life-threatening emergencies..... in  11:59 in suburban areas and 19:59 in rural areas with 90% reliability. Non-life threatening emergencies should receive a response within 12:59 in urban areas. - http://schertz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/SchertzEMS_FINAL_Report_10_MARCH_2013.pdf
