If This is an Emergency, Dial 911

Fall Prevention

Senior citizen falls attributed to a significant amount of injuries and transports to the emergency room when compared to other traumatic call types.

The purpose of our Fall Prevention program is to reduce falls, injuries, and trips to the ER for the seniors in our community. Union Volunteer Emergency Squad has a FREE in-home safety assessment to identify potential risks and hazards for slips, trips, and falls in your home.

As long as you live in the Town of Union, UVES will perform a free in-home safety assessment and give you tips and ideas to correct any noted hazards. We can provide you with brochures and other information for the assistance you may need. We can also help you fill out a medical information card. Quick access to your medications and medical information can be lifesaving!

These appointments generally take an hour. We hope to see you soon!
